Human Rights

Human rights are the basic rights and freedoms that inherently belong to every person, regardless of nationality, sex, ethnicity, religion, or any other status. They are universal and inalienable, meaning they cannot be taken away or given up. Human rights are often enshrined in laws and international agreements, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the United Nations in 1948. These rights include the right to life, freedom of thought and expression, the right to work and education, and the right to participate in cultural and political life. Human rights are intended to ensure the dignity, equality, and well-being of individuals and to protect them from abuse and discrimination. The promotion and protection of human rights are essential for a just and equitable society.
